Bounty Hamster
Bounty Hamster was a cartoon series that
was shown on UK TV with a core junior Sci Fi following and with wider
appeal. The show was created by
Alan Gilbey and David Freedman of Peafur Productions. Directed by Graham
Ralph at Silver Fox Films.
Cassie is a lady hamster who ‘employs’,
but does not like, Marian the (Purple) Bounty Hamster, eye patch and all,
to find her father who was abducted by who knows! As they search in vain,
in ‘Keith’ the spaceship, the wrong side of the universe, to find her
father, Cassie and Marians’ adventures include encounters with alien
species robots and carnivorous plants. Full of jokes and quick scene
changes – Never a dull moment. Especially for film buffs. Marian always
has a surprise in his cheek pouches to save the day.
